General contractor in Burnaby
Home additions, structural repairs, custom builds and any project that needs one contractor to run the trades, the permits and the schedule.
A general contractor is the one company responsible for the whole job: hiring and scheduling the trades, ordering materials, getting permits, booking inspections and answering to you. For projects bigger than a single room, that single point of responsibility is what keeps the work moving and the budget honest.
What a general contractor does for you
- One contract. You sign with one company instead of managing separate trades.
- One schedule. Framing, plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall and finishing happen in the right order.
- Permits and inspections. Applied for, booked and passed.
- One point of contact. Questions go to one person who knows the whole job.
Additions and structural work
Adding space, removing a load-bearing wall or repairing structure needs engineering input, a building permit and inspections at the right stages. We coordinate the engineer, the permit and the build so the paperwork and the construction line up.
Checking any contractor before you sign
Whoever you hire, check their registration, licence, insurance and reviews first. Our guide to choosing a renovation contractor in BC lists the seven checks, and our own details are on the contact page so you can run them on us.

FAQ
Questions we get asked
Do I need a general contractor or can I hire trades myself?
For a single trade job, such as tiling one floor, hiring the trade directly is fine. Once a project involves several trades, permits or structure, a general contractor saves time and takes on the coordination risk.
Do you build home additions?
Yes. Additions need drawings, engineering where structure changes, and a building permit. We coordinate all three.
Do you work outside Burnaby?
Yes, across Metro Vancouver and into the Fraser Valley. See the areas we serve.
